About Us
Who We Are
We are a team of dream-makers who believe that everyone can help to create a better future.
Our group of people are committed to helping others, no matter their race and culture.
We want to provide a better future for those who need it. We strongly believe in everyone’s potential, however, we know our environment limits the opportunities and goals of many. Our team is expanded and we spread out in Mexico and the U.S. to make sure we are helping as many kids and youths as possible.
Our Approach
Mission
Provide an academic opportunity to children and youth born in the United States who are living in Mexico for social, cultural, political, or economic reasons, preparing our participants to carry out their university studies in the United States or Mexico.
Vision
The change we want to see in the world is a place with equal educational opportunities. We want to provide complementary and quality education to Mexican-American and Mexican children, based on moral and academic education for improvement and progress in the community through the retribution of social and environmental actions; in order to aspire to higher education with the best quality possible.
Values
Creating Dreams of Hope seeks to set aside false Mexican beliefs, for which our principal values are respect, humility, honesty, and responsibility. Respect is necessary to demonstrate who we are as people to others, but also, we need to respect ourselves, our beliefs, and our traditions no matter where we are or who is asking. As we are working with Mexican-American kids, is important to influence respect for both cultures and traditions. Humility is important to remember where we come from, and where we want to go, that we need the honesty to be grateful to those who support and help us. However, we need to make clear the point that opportunities need requirements, like the responsibility to strive for those who trust us.
We Believe…
We believe that each person should have the same educational opportunities no matter the social class or economic condition. Nowadays hard work and effort are not enough to succeed in different life aspects. Opportunities are needed to develop better educational environments, and we consider that all individuals need a second chance.
Life is the fullest with beautiful experiences, however, our norms have limited them for most people. We consider America should have no borders but connections, a place where opportunities are equally distributed among its inhabitants no matter race, color, culture, or tradition.
